  4. 4

Click Combine PDFs. The single PDF downloads straight away.

Features

  • Never uploaded

Your files are combined by your browser on your own device, so private documents stay private.

  • Exact copies of pages

Pages are copied as they are: text stays selectable and searchable, and images are not recompressed.

  • Easy ordering

Thumbnails of each first page, drag to reorder, arrow buttons, or sort by name for numbered files.

  • Fast, no limits

No sign-up, no daily cap and no watermark. Big files are limited only by your device memory.

Why combining in your browser matters

The PDFs people most often need to combine are the private ones: a signed contract and its schedules, a loan application and the statements that go with it, medical forms, tax documents. Most online PDF tools upload those files to a server to process them. Here, the combining is done by your browser, using the same open-source PDF library on your own device, so there is nothing to upload and nothing for anyone to keep.

Tips for a tidy result

  • Number your files before you start (01, 02, 03…) and use Sort by name to put a long set in order in one click.
  • Check page orientation after combining scans. If some pages are sideways, fix them with rotate PDF or reorder and delete pages with organize PDF pages.
  • Number the pages of the finished file with add page numbers, so readers can find their way around.
  • Photos instead of PDFs? Turn them into a PDF first with image to PDF, then combine.

To do the opposite and break a large PDF into parts, use split PDF. To send just a few pages, extract pages into a new file.

Frequently asked questions

Is it safe to combine PDFs online here?

Yes. The tool runs in your browser and the files never leave your device: there is no upload and nothing is stored. You can load the page, disconnect from the internet and it still works. That makes it suitable for contracts, tax forms, medical records and other private documents.

How do I put the PDFs in the right order?

Drag a file up or down the list, or use the arrow buttons next to it. If your files are numbered, such as "01 Cover" and "02 Report", Sort by name puts them in order, treating 2 as coming before 10.

Will the quality of my PDFs change?

No. Pages are copied into the new file as they are, so text stays sharp and selectable and images keep their original quality. The combined file is usually about the size of the originals added together.

Why can’t I add a password-protected PDF?

A PDF with an open password, or with editing restrictions set by its creator, can’t be changed by this tool. Open it in your PDF reader with the password and save a copy without protection (or print it to PDF), then add that copy.

Are bookmarks and form fields kept?

The pages, their text, images and web links are kept. The bookmarks panel (the outline) is not carried over, and fillable form fields may stop being fillable. If you need a form filled in, fill it and save it first, or print it to PDF, then combine.

How many PDFs can I combine?

There is no set limit. Dozens of normal documents combine in seconds. Very large scans (hundreds of megabytes in total) may run out of memory on a phone; on a computer they usually work fine.
